Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water Systems in North Metro Atlanta
The main choice is tankless or tank. A tankless system makes purified water on demand, frees up the cabinet under your sink and usually wastes less water, but it needs an electrical outlet. A tank system stores purified water in a small pressurized tank, needs no power and costs less up front. Both reduce dissolved solids, lead and other heavy metals, and chlorine at the tap you drink and cook from. Results depend on your water.
The HW800 AlkaPro Tankless RO is a seven-stage, 800 GPD system with a 2:1 purified-to-drain ratio and built-in remineralization, so it doesn't need a separate alkaline filter. It is certified to NSF/ANSI 58 for TDS reduction and structural integrity.
The 5-Stage Tank Reverse Osmosis is the classic under-sink design with a pressurized storage tank and no power required. RO takes minerals out along with contaminants, so we suggest pairing it with the Pure Alkaline Filter to add calcium and magnesium back for fuller taste. Either system works on its own or alongside a whole-home system.
